Facebook App Gives People Beauty Tips From Their Older, Future Selves
Targeting their younger clientele, Tokyo-based cosmetics company Shiseido launched a new campaign to educate young women about the importance of healthy skin. The company introduced an interactive Facebook app that shares helpful tips and real life stories told by women across the world. Future Self users will share beauty tips, personalized advice, and free skincare products via the Facebook newsfeed.
This project was conceived and produced by DOMANI, a creative agency that specializes in design, strategy and marketing techniques, for Shiseido's Ibuki line of skincare products. With hopes to foster healthier lifestyles, the Shiseido campaign wants women to take a more preventive approach to skincare as opposed to addressing issues once they surface.
Who better to deliver free products and offer up beauty advice than a future you.
The Facebook app will allow visitors to connect with their "future selves," giving them a more personal interaction because Shiseido believes in self-preserved beauty.
